I had my first appointment with Dr Norman yesterday and it went remarkably well. He's very attentive, thorough, and has an amazing bedside manner you don't see much anymore. As a young-ish cardiac patient (49 y/o), I'm very thankful to have found Dr Norman to help me be proactive in my (otherwise genetically-damned) cardiac care journey.

I was very pleased with my appointment. Everyone was very helpful and knowledgeable. The wait time for the appointment was short. The whole experience was very pleasant. There was very good communication with the Nurse Practitioner.

All of the staff were very professional and knowledgeable. All of my questions were answered clearly. Their guidance was invaluable.

I went in for my monthly INR check. The staff was friendly as always. The nurse gave me an EKG and checked my INR. Elyssa was great we talked about some of the foods causing a drop in my readings and how to proceed.

Five stars all around! It’s hard to find a great staff and a great doctor at one office. And when you do you hold onto them.

I cannot say enough good about my good experiences with Annie. I recommend her all the time. Recently had some health issues and could not get an appointment with doctor except for a month or more. Every situation is different, however, they were able to get me in on the same day, which was so much appreciated. You can’t go wrong with Annie. She’s very personable and thorough.

NWHHC has been our convenient, friendly, efficient, and competent solution for family heart health for many years. I have confidence in all employees, whether doctor's, PAs, technicians or office staff, they are, without exception, professional kind and wonderful to work with. One thing I really appreciate is that they have chosen to stay at their Tomball location as opposed to numerous other doctors who have moved to places like the Woodlands. If I have to see one of those doctors, it requires an extra 45 minutes or more travel time in each direction. Not only has this practice remained in Tomball, they are currently expanding their facilities here. So, as you can see, I can't say enough good things about this group. Dr. Aslam, Brandon, the PA and all others are just great! I'm glad they are still around!

Dr. Norman is above an excellent doctor. He should be teaching in medical schools. We need more excellent doctors like him.

Dr. Roy Norman is an excelent cardiologist. He has a great deal of knowledge in his field. He takes time to answer all of your questions. He has an excelent relationship with a cardiolocal electrophysiologist, Dr. George Manukian. TThey work well together & they make a great team.

Excellent front office staff went above and beyond to help us after driving 7 hours from Baton Rouge. The nursing staff made sure all aspects of my wife’s issues were discussed and noted in her chart on the first visit. I can not express how satisfied I am with Dr. Ansari. He treats me with respect and dignity, and I feel like I hate really does care about my health. The girls who work up front at the Reception and Follow Up desk are absolutely some of the best I have ever came into contact with.

I like Dr. Ma, she takes the necessary time and is always well prepared. Her care advice is great and very inclusive. About the check in process: I know it will get better, it took me about 5 minutes to do the electronic check in and then the receptionist had to run my CC for the (seemingly high) co-pay and had to run through the same info live with me, in effect checking me in again. Doing twice the work.

Busy practice but extremely well organized. I was early for my testing and expected to wait but was in and out quickly with no issues. Results were reviewed with me during the visit. I am still waiting for the results to be posted to the patient portal and for follow up from my doctors.

Dr Roy E Norman, DO is a great Heart Surgeon and Internist. If I ever have any heart problems, no matter if I live in another state I'm coming back to Dr. Roy E Norman DO for treatment.

Dr. Norman was very helpful in getting me to understand the medical procedure that I had at Tomball Hospital. I appreciate the advice that he gave me on the best way to take my medicine for it to help me. He also advised me on the correct way to take my blood pressure, which I found out that I had not been taking it right. He also had good suggestions in regard to the right and wrong foods to eat. I feel like he really listened to me when I asked him questions

Dr.Norman is absolutely the most knowledgeable, caring, and committed doctor I’ve ever chosen as a caregiver. I first met him when he was treating my husband three years ago, and when it recently came time for me to seek a cardiologist, he was naturally my one and only choice. His commitment to his patients’ wellbeing was clearly demonstrated a few weeks ago when he was under the weather but chose to “power through” to see me despite his impaired, yet noncontagious condition. His explanations of test results and future treatment plans are thorough and easily understood, leaving me confident that I am receiving the absolute best care available.

Really like Dr. Norman and appreciate the time he spends with me each appointment. However, to be kept waiting for over an hour after you’ve already been placed in an examination room is highly frustrating! Especially when you have a calendar full of work demands. One would expect to be seen within 15-20 minutes of appt time and then on your way to work/next responsibility. I find this highly disrespectful of my time.

He is the most caring and professional doctor I have ever had. I trust him with my life.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent experience as a patient of Dr. Aslam. While the office staff was incredibly attentive, helpful, and never made me feel rushed, my interactions with Dr. Aslam were unfortunately quite the opposite. My visits with Dr. Aslam were incredibly brief, lasting no more than 10 minutes each. He was dismissive of my concerns, particularly regarding a specific reaction I experienced during a stress test. Despite my repeated explanations that this reaction was not related to the medication, he insisted it was and refused to acknowledge my prior experiences. Furthermore, Dr. Aslam was not thorough in reviewing my test results. He quickly skimmed over labs, including elevated results, without proper discussion or a plan of action. My medical records from his office also contained inaccuracies that had to be corrected. The online portal is largely ineffective, lacking crucial information such as images from testing and complete results. Obtaining comprehensive records requires contacting the office directly. I sincerely did not appreciate Dr. Aslam's dismissive and neglectful manner. His lack of attention to detail and patient care is concerning and could potentially have serious consequences. I strongly advise others to carefully consider their choice of cardiologist and seek a more attentive and thorough physician. I highly recommend Dr. Baig off of Dotson road (by Willowbrook Methodist Hospital) as an alternative. I hope this review helps other patients make informed decisions about their healthcare.

Elyssa comes to Dr. Aslam's office with years of nursing experience as an R.N. prior to getting her nurse practioners license. Her depth of experience serves her and her patients well.

Elyssa is very friendly and thorough, she listens to your concerns. And offers advice, and or tests. And comes up with a plan of care.

Though I do love the Dr, It seems that Dr. Norman's office has an ongoing issue with getting paperwork done on time. I've experienced this problem twice, where they called me on the last business day before a procedure to ask for more information, even though my appointment was scheduled months in advance. This has caused a lot of stress as I had taken time off work and prepared for the procedure, only to have it postponed due to the office staff's inability to complete paperwork on time. Dr. Norman is aware and upset about this issue, as it has happened not only to me but also to a family member. Dr. Norman himself is wonderful, kind, and caring, but the office staff's inefficiency is causing significant problems.
