Roy E. Norman, DO, is the newest cardiologist to join Northwest Houston Heart Center and is now accepting new patients at the clinic locations in Tomball, Cypress, Magnolia, and The Woodlands, Texas.

Born in Houston and raised in Caldwell, Dr. Norman is a native Texan. Dr. Norman earned his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia. He went on to complete his internship and internal medicine residency at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, Mississippi, where he served as chief resident. Afterward, he completed his cardiovascular fellowship at Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area in Texas as chief cardiology fellow. 

Dr. Norman specializes in general and invasive cardiology, management of high blood pressure and high cholesterol, peripheral vascular procedures and disease management, pacemaker implant and monitoring, cardiac arrhythmia evaluation and management, preoperative cardiac clearance, nuclear cardiology, stress testing, and echocardiography. Dr. Norman performs complex peripheral arterial disease procedures to correct the blockages in the leg arteries to restore normal circulation. He also performs the full spectrum of vein disease treatments to maintain healthy leg circulation. He has a special interest in pacemaker implantations to correct heart rhythm disorders. Dr. Norman is passionate about patient care and enjoys taking care of his patients.
